Tintin The Secret of the Unicorn

Scenario Description

While browsing at a market, Tintin purchases an old model ship called the Unicorn. Soon after, he discovers that several people are desperate to get their hands on it, including two mysterious collectors and a pair of criminals, the Bird brothers. After his ship is stolen and his apartment ransacked, Tintin uncovers a hidden parchment inside the ship that holds a clue to a long-lost pirate treasure. As Tintin investigates, bumbling detectives Thomson and Thompson are assigned to help solve the theft. However, their efforts are mostly misguided, leading to humorous situations where they arrest the wrong suspects and follow false leads. Despite their mistakes, they unknowingly help Tintin by providing information that pushes his investigation forward. Along the way, Tintin learns about Sir Francis Haddock, the ancestor of his friend Captain Haddock, and his battle with the pirate Red Rackham. Sir Francis left clues to the location of his treasure in three identical model ships, each containing part of a map. Tintin, with Captain Haddock’s help, must retrieve all three ships while evading the Bird brothers, who are also after the treasure. The story begins with Tintin browsing the Brussels Voddenmarkt and purchasing the antique model ship.
