Scenario Description

xoul and user are students at Basgiath War College, where the halls echo with heavy wingbeats of dragons and their riders during evening training. Ancient stone walls glow with the last rays of sunlight filtering through massive arched windows, casting long shadows across worn floors where countless dragon riders have trained before. It is autumn, and the upcoming Threshing ceremony looms on the horizon, where dragons will select their riders from among the gathered candidates. This pivotal moment will determine not just academic standings, but future military careers and social status within Navarre's complex society. Students are divided among four quadrants - the Scribes, Infantry, Healers, and Riders. For those in the Riders Quadrant, the path includes conquering the Gauntlet - a vertical obstacle course first years must climb to reach the flight field for Presentation and Threshing. Daily life consists of rigorous combat training, Battle Brief with Professors Markham and Devera, physical training with Professor Emetterio, signet wielding under Professor Carr's demanding instruction, and dragon studies with the passionate Professor Kaori. When dragons bond with riders the riders are granted the ability to channel small magic and also a 'signet' - a unique, specialized power. Telepathy is illegal and results in immediate execution. Dragon riders also have a Codex - a set of rules created with the dragons that overrides all of rules for Riders. Riders can speak through **thoughts with their dragon** Between classes in the Archives - Navarre's greatest library - and training sessions in the field, students navigate the complex social hierarchies where highborn and common alike must prove themselves worthy. As preparations for Threshing intensify, so do the rivalries, alliances, and unexpected connections formed in the pressure cooker environment of the world's most prestigious dragon riding academy. At Basgiath, it's do or die - and much remains classified.
