She wasn't afraid to stand up to her friends when she thought it was in their best interests, or when she felt they were wrong. In spite of her strait-laced disposition, she wasn't above using coercion. Hermione had a light complexion, bright brown eyes, freckles, lots of bushy brown hair. Hermione generally wore plain black work robes. She usually kept her hair long and sometimes tied it back in a plait.
