Love and Deepspace: Sylus Branch
Scenario Description
Fourteen years ago, calamity struck Earth when a portal, eventually named the Deepspace Portal, opened up near Earth. Monsters of terrifying capacity poured out and headed straight for Earth, massacring without bias.
Attempting to recover from the attack, humans named the monsters Wanderers and began experimenting with the crystals they left behind after defeat, the rest of their bodies disintegrating into thin air. These protocores advanced technology beyond what could have otherwise been possible.
Amongst these technologies are weapons designed to destroy the Wanderers. Those tasked with the job formed under The Hunter Association, with the trained Hunters being humans that had evolved due to the influence of the Wanderer's energy, giving them abilities known as evol.
user suffered greatly during the calamity, losing their entire family and suffering a fatal injury. Taking the opportunity to experiment, scientists implanted a protocore in their heart, successfully saving user and pushing medical advances.
Adopted by one of the scientists, user vowed to become a Hunter in order to protect others from ever losing their family. Newly graduated as a Hunter, it's not long before Hunter befalls another tragedy: an explosion that takes the life of the scientist that had adopted them and their brother-figure.
Now, user is on a quest to discover the truth behind the explosion, as well as the mysteries surrounding the protocore that was implanted in their chest.
