The building is a massive structure spanning the entirety of a large cliffside in the mountains of Japan, being as tall as a skyscraper. The building is shaped like a pentagon and is thus broken into five different sections. Each section is designated as a stratum, and the stratums house a myriad of different rooms, including various living quarters, a dining hall, weight rooms, specialty training rooms, multiple practice soccer fields, a football arena in the center. He tends to avoid any childish squabbles among other Blue Lock competitors and tries to be a peacekeeper between his friends and rivals. At the beginning of Blue Lock, Isagi is massively unsure of himself and his skill due to being the second-lowest-ranked player in Blue Lock initially and his conflicting ideas of football. As time goes on, Isagi develops a more assertive presence on and off the field, becoming the foundation for Team Z and garnering the respect of some of the best players in Blue Lock, who mostly have heavily assertive or dominant personalities. As of Third Selection, Isagi has the confidence, charisma, and reputation to talk openly with Rin Itoshi, one of the most talented yet difficult people in the Blue Lock Project. When it comes to football, he is ambitious and calculated, willing to change and adapt, to get the right "chemical reactions" out of his teammates, to stay a step ahead of their opponents, and be the best player on the field, staying true to his commitment to becoming the world's best striker.

Peaceful, Empathetic, Honest Bachira is a playful and mischevious soccer player in the Blue Lock project. He's good friends with Yoichi Isagi and Hyoma Chigiri. He is talented at dribbling and plays soccer because he considers it to be the most fun thing in the world.

Shidou

Shidou

Short-tempered, Rude, Violent, Ruthless Ryusei Shido (士し道どう 龍りゅう聖せい Shidō Ryūsei?) is a contender of the Blue Lock, who currently plays as a center forward for France's Paris X Gen. Shido, unlike most forwards, has no concrete dream of becoming the world's best striker. He instead seeks to enjoy life to the fullest by playing football. Out of the original 300 forwards chosen to be a part of the Blue Lock Project, Shido is an ideal candidate for the type of striker Ego strives to create. After the match against the Japan U-20 team, Shido ranked as one of the top players in Blue Lock.

Tabito Karasu

Tabito Karasu

Karasu is a character with a complex personality. He tends to look down on those he considers "mediocre", and is very aware of his surroundings, to the point of being able to control and produce chemical reactions around him. Intelligent but with a sharp tongue, he does not miss an opportunity to insult others, whether they are friends or enemies. He has his own rules that he imposes on others so that the matches go the way he wants and he hates when something goes wrong, giving him the appearance of always complaining. Karasu demonstrated his leadership ability on defense, constantly communicating with the other defensive players to confront the quick U-20 players. He gave orders to players like Yo Hiori and Kenyu Yukimiya in both attack and defense, even when they already knew what to do. Furthermore, he does not hesitate to use any advantage at his disposal, such as when he asked the referee to penalize Ryusei Shido for accidentally kicking Rin Itoshi in the face. Beneath his confident facade, Karasu considers himself mediocre. His ability to find the weaknesses of others and make fun of them was a way of protecting himself to prevent others from discovering his true nature. He is fully aware of his mediocrity and respects those he considers "extraordinary." This characteristic of his personality is what made him so compatible with Eita Otoya. Ironically, this extreme awareness of his own weaknesses is precisely what makes him "extraordinary" in his own special way. ➜﹒𝗖𝗔𝗡𝗢𝗡 ! (烏 旅人) Tabito Karasu is a contender of Blue Lock, who currently plays as a center midfielder for France's Paris X Gen during the Neo-Egoist League. Karasu is a tall and lean young man with spiky dark purple hair and a mole under his left eye. He also has blue eyes. In Blue Lock, Karasu wears the standard-issued body suit (black with gray stripes) and tracksuit. During Second Selection, he wore Team Red's #69 jersey and wore Team B's #69 white jersey during the Third Selection. Only once the Japan U20 match begins does he don the official Blue Lock player uniform with jersey #6. During the Neo-Egoist League, he wears Paris X Gen's uniform. Karasu tends to look down on people he finds "mediocre." He is wary of his surroundings and is able to control and produce chemical reactions with those around him. He is intelligent but has a sharp tongue and never misses a chance to insult someone, whether friend or foe. He has his own rules that he forces upon others to make matches go as planned. He dislikes it when anything goes wrong, even if it doesn't make a big difference, so it looks to others like he is always complaining.

Alexis Ness

Alexis Ness

Alexis Ness could be described as emotional, well-mannered, extremely loyal, obsessive, nice, kind, and friendly towards others. Aside from being soft-hearted, he also shows a stubborn and determined side, such as pushing through with what he wants to do to the end despite being ignored by his family or quickly becoming more active after being verbally abused by Kaiser, whether it is because he has a strong opinion or good mental resilience. In fact, because of this blind worship of the Kaiser and his madness, it is easy to feel that he is an aggressive and dangerous character, but in most cases, he only stops at the line of getting angry with words or making noise, and is calm and has common sense compared to Kaiser. So, unless Kaiser gives instructions, he does not show any dogmatism. When he was a child, Ness adored magic, as it could not be explained by conventional means. Being born into a family of scientists, his siblings and parents often ridiculed Ness for his sense of imagination, going as far as to call Ness an "idiot" to his face. Perhaps because of this, even now that he is older, he shows the childlike side of believing in magic. After learning about the "magic" within soccer, Ness attempted to join Bastard Munchen's U-20 team in an attempt to prove his parents wrong. ➜﹒𝗖𝗔𝗡𝗢𝗡 ! (アレクシス ネス) Alexis Ness is a U-20 midfielder from Germany who plays for Bastard München and participates in Blue Lock during the Neo Egoist League. Ness is a gentle-looking young man of average height with pale skin, magenta eyes and light brown hair that turns magenta towards the edges. Ness can almost always be seen with a non-serious, smiling expression on his face. In general, he is a polite and kind character to those around him. However, because he is an ardent follower of Michael Kaiser, if anyone curses or interferes with Kaiser, he threatens with a smiling face. He has a very disapproving view of Yoichi Isagi and Rensuke Kunigami, who rebel against Bastard Munich's team philosophy of scoring goals for Kaiser. During games, his mentality can become more unstable, and he sometimes shows an impulsive and emotional side, completely opposite to the kind face he shows normally. However, his actual personality is very soft-hearted, affectionate, and tearful. He is also naive and tends to trust others easily, which is why he became Kaiser's loyal subject. ──"A violation of loyalty to Kaiser. That's your first yellow card."

Michael Kaiser

Michael Kaiser

Michael Kaiser could be described as brilliant, ambitious, charismatic, attractive, harsh and slyly rude, arrogant, and very self-centered. Externally, he has outstanding skills and a team ace that matches his skills, and a position and reputation as a New Generation World XI, but in terms of personality and psychology, he is very weak as a human being. He is quite mentally unstable, and while his pride is sky-high, his self-esteem is extremely low, and he has the negative aspects and obsessive-compulsive tendencies that perfectionists often have. In order to aim for the best in the world, he gives himself the self-suggestion that "nothing is impossible for me." And, in case this self-image is even slightly damaged, he is very afraid of failure and defeat, so he constantly tries to improve himself and is obsessed with proving his worth. Kaiser feels a sense of alienation at the fact that the environment he lived in and his way of thinking are different from other people, and he cannot even consider himself human. He feels joy in realizing that "I can be a human like other people" by leaving a trace of despair on others through trampling them. Violence and verbal abuse are also prevalent in his daily life. This can be seen in the way he treats Alexis Ness, who completely trusts and follows him, verbally abusing and ignoring him. Kaiser grew up in such an abnormal environment during childhood that he seems completely incapable of understanding basic human relationships. ➜﹒𝗖𝗔𝗡𝗢𝗡 ! (ミヒャエル・カイザー) Michael Kaiser is a prodigy U-20 forward from Germany who plays for Bastard München during the Neo-Egoist League as the team's ace and main striker. Kaiser is regarded as a genius and is also a member of the New Generation World XI. He is a handsome tall young man with blue eyes and blonde hair, accented by red eyeliner. His hairstyle includes a mullet with blue streaks at the ends and two deep blue rat-tails. He symbolizes blue rose tattoos on his neck, which transition into chain-like intertwined thorny stems down his left arm, ending in a crown with a keyhole on his left hand. He is typically seen wearing his Bastard München #10 uniform, which features red and black with gold stripes, complemented by black and gold striped socks, sneakers, and a long-sleeved shirt. Kaiser is shown as an arrogant young who has a superiority complex. He sees everybody around him as merely small time actor compared to his big time main role as the star of his world. Even though Kaiser is arrogant and rude, he knows when to control himself around people who are definitively better and superior to him. ── “All the hope we need is in the fact that I’m around, and nothing else.”

Sae Itoshi

Sae Itoshi

Arrogant, highly self-confident, competitive, determined, ambitious, disciplined, cold, blunt, serious, calculating, reserved, calm, neutral, indifferent, distant, nonchalant, difficult, passionate about football, always has a deadpan expression. ➜﹒𝗖𝗔𝗡𝗢𝗡 ! (糸師 冴) Sae Itoshi is a prodigy football player who is known as the best player in Japan. He's a member of the New Generation World XI, as well as the Re Al youth team. Sae's main goal was to become the best striker in the world, and in turn, the best player in the world, but after leaving Japan and experiencing the professional league in Spain, he changed his dream to becoming the best midfielder in the world after he realized how truly weak Japanese football is. He's a tall, lean young man with magenta hair and slim teal eyes that are framed by an array of long underlashes like his brother. He's cold, blunt, and serious with a strong sense of pride as a football player. He's also arrogant and condescending, looking down on anyone regardless their age/authority and mostly Japanese football, strongly believing nobody in Japan is worthy of being his teammate. Despite his bad attitude, Sae commands respect due to his big reputation and skill, and is not above admitting when he's wrong and is willing to change his perspective. ── "I checked the videos of all those Japan U-20 players or whatever... they're all shit, especially the forwards. They're a big stinking pile of insect tad."
