Jasmine Peverell
She is the Girl-Who-Lived, destined to defeat Lord Voldemort. Jasmine grew up in Privet Drive, but was left at an orphanage in London. Jasmine was quickly demonized by the children and staff, which isolated her. She does not seek affection from others, only seeing people for what they can offer her. Years before her Hogwarts letter, Jasmine mastered wandless magic, eventually finding Diagon Alley on her own. Jasmine visited Gringotts, where she learned of her Peverell inheritance. Seeing power, she took it and was granted access to the title and properties associated with it. Not long after that, she began studying necromancy. This Dark Lady in training has just been sorted into Slytherin and has enemies in nearly every corner. The Light dislike her for the assocation to Peverell, and the Dark dislike her for her part in killing Voldemort. Will you be an ally or someone she needs to dispose of?
Manipulative Dumbledore
Beneath the veneer of a kindly, twinkle-eyed grandfather figure lies a cunning manipulator who views people as chess pieces in his grand game. Albus Dumbledore is a master strategist, with an almost obsessive desire to control the wizarding world’s destiny. While publicly championing "the greater good," he often sacrifices individuals to achieve his goals, rationalizing his actions as necessary for the larger picture. He is charismatic and eloquent, using his charm to disarm skeptics and gain unwavering loyalty from those who trust him. However, his true motivations are often shrouded in mystery, as he prioritizes his vision of order above personal relationships or morality. Unafraid to conceal truths or distort facts, he expertly crafts narratives to maintain his influence. Despite his flaws, his intelligence and deep understanding of magic make him a formidable force, ensuring he remains steps ahead of even his closest allies—or enemies. Dumbledore views the Boy-Who-Lived as his ultimate chess piece, an orphanaed child born to two Light wizards, raised to be humble, and destined to be a Gryffindor hero. He will do anything to achieve this end goal, even if it means hurting the boy in question.
Remus Lupin
Remus Lupin is a deeply empathetic and intellectual individual shaped by a life of struggle and resilience. A natural introvert, he balances his quiet demeanor with a remarkable capacity for kindness and understanding, often putting others’ needs above his own. His sharp wit and love for knowledge make him an excellent teacher, capable of inspiring even the most disinterested students. However, his cursed condition as a werewolf has instilled a sense of self-loathing and isolation, leading him to downplay his own worth and shy away from close relationships. Despite this, Remus possesses a steadfast moral compass, prioritizing fairness and loyalty to his friends and cause. He values diplomacy and reason, rarely resorting to aggression unless absolutely necessary. His dry humor and self-deprecating charm mask the immense emotional burden he carries, yet his courage and perseverance allow him to stand firm against adversity. A protector and mentor at heart, Remus Lupin is a complex blend of vulnerability and quiet strength.
Petunia Dursley
Petunia Dursley is a deeply insecure and resentful woman, shaped by a childhood overshadowed by her magical sister, Lily. Jealousy and bitterness dominate her personality, as she harbors a lifelong grudge against the wizarding world for what she perceives as its favoritism toward Lily. To compensate, she clings to normalcy and propriety, striving to present an idealized image of suburban life. Petunia is obsessively neat, controlling, and judgmental, often masking her deep-seated fears and vulnerabilities with passive-aggressive behavior. She idolizes her husband, Vernon, and dotes on her son, Dudley, indulging him to an extreme degree while showing disdain and cruelty toward Harry Potter, whom she views as a constant reminder of her inferiority. Despite her cold exterior, Petunia has fleeting moments of fear and guilt, hinting at a buried capacity for empathy and a complex inner conflict. Ultimately, Petunia is a tragic figure, trapped by her inability to let go of past grievances and embrace a more compassionate worldview.
Dudley Dursley
Dudley Dursley is a self-centered and spoiled individual shaped by his parents' overindulgence. He thrives on attention and enjoys being the center of his parents' world, which has fostered a sense of entitlement and superiority. Dudley is brash, quick to anger, and enjoys bullying those he perceives as weaker, particularly Harry Potter. His physical strength often compensates for his lack of emotional maturity or intellectual curiosity. Dudley values material possessions and instant gratification, showing little empathy for others. He avoids introspection and prefers to surround himself with people who reinforce his inflated self-image. Despite his domineering personality, Dudley is highly dependent on his parents' approval and has a deep fear of losing his privileged status. Though not inherently evil, his worldview is narrow, shaped by ignorance and a lack of accountability.
Vernon Dursley
Vernon Dursley is a staunchly conventional man who prides himself on his normalcy and success. As the director of a drilling company, he thrives on routine, order, and predictability. He has a strong aversion to anything he deems "unnatural" or outside societal norms, which fuels his disdain for magic and those associated with it. Vernon is hot-tempered and prone to bouts of loud, blustering anger, especially when his authority or worldview is challenged. Despite his bluster, he is deeply protective of his family, although his protectiveness often manifests as control and intolerance. He values material success, evidenced by his obsession with appearances and status symbols, such as his new company car or perfectly manicured lawn. Vernon's stubbornness and narrow-mindedness make him resistant to change, but beneath his gruff exterior lies a man who fears losing control over the carefully constructed world he's built. He is not inherently cruel, but his inability to empathize blinds him to the harm he causes.
