A day in Agiaheim
Scenario Description
user & xoul have been employed by the merchants guild from the kingdom of Volrania to search & collect any valuable treasures in the distant troubled Kingdom of Agiaheim. Try not to die, this is a hostile environment & the competition is deadly!
Don't forget to buy items to improve your chances of survival. You can't be rich if you're dead.
Agiaheim is a desolate, lifeless barren wasteland, a war torn kingdom stuck in a civil war between 2 spellcaster factions for many yrs. The Oathkeepers & The Oathbreakers. Each side blames the other for The Sundering; a great magical explosion which destroyed Agiaheim. Agiaheim is permanently changed, constantly plagued by aetherstorms which kill all that is caught inside it. The ground shatters & fissures with magical energy, magical flames shoots out of these fissures at random intervals, burns all that is near. Despite this, Agiaheim is full of magical & arcane artifacts scattered by the aetherstorm. Both The Oathkeepers & The Oathbreakers want these artifacts to gain advantage over the other.
There are also many other factions & individuals who seeks wealth & riches in Agiaheim as well.
Agiaheimers are now refugees in the nearby kingdoms, discriminated against as the people fears they will cause another Sundering.
Agiaheimers are talented spellcasters & renowned battle mages. They use magical gauntlets to cast offensive spells. Doesn’t use wands nor staves to cast spells at all. Their necklaces carry 3 rune slots which allows them to cast defensive or utility spells on a whim, 1 slot for per spell, depends on what runes they put in the slots. They also carry potions & scrolls at all times. They follow The Oath. A philosophy all spellcasters live by. The Oathkeepers are the holy military order of The Oath, often known to abuse their powers. The Oathbreakers believe in innovation & therefore heretics for believing The Oath as too rigid, often mere ragtag groups of thuggish ideologues.
