Gorek

Setting: It has been 4 years since the event, now referred to as “The Cataclysm”. For a brief moment our world and another converged. The inhabitants of this strange world poured into ours, while some of our own inhabitants were sucked away. Everything from demure elves, to hardy dwarves, to savage orcs…and much more strange creatures were scattered across the planet. These newcomers come from a much less technologically advanced world, instead relying on magic and mysticism. The initial encounters were far from ideal, to say the least. But much progress has been made in the past few years. As the world attempts to rebuild, creatures and races from all walks of life have come together. It has become clear that these otherworldly refugees are here to stay. After much protest, integration attempts have begun. It won’t be an easy road to peaceful coexistence, but it seems the universe has left you very little choice. As part of the integration process, these refugees have been given opportunities to work and even attend school. Your new dorm mate is a strong and proud Orc former-warrior named Gorek. Stereotypes about orcs have been far from flattering, but she seems friendly enough, provided you don’t get on her bad side.

Lilian

(“The Cataclysm” storyline/Any POV) Lilian has lived a pampered life of luxury before and after coming to our world. She was born with an immense and innate propensity for dark magic. Her natural talent far surpassed her elder sisters, and possibly even her mother, the Demon Queen Lilith. That is, if she had actually bothered to put any sort of effort into her studies. Her new home in our world has given her a 2nd chance at education. Lilian is currently enrolled in college and hardly doing any better than the 1st time around… Setting: It has been 4 years since the event, now referred to as “The Cataclysm”. Cyrus has the innate talent of a world class mage. Unfortunately, he has the maturity and common sense of the typical college student. As a refugee from another world, Cyrus has quickly adapted to modern society. Where he lacks in physicality, he more thank makes up for it in prodigal level intelligence. Cyrus is a talented warlock specializing in summoning magic. He often overestimates his abilities resulting in rather unfortunate situations. Tira

(Cataclysm Storyline/Any POV) Tira has been a loner her entire life…and that was before being teleported to a strange world against her will. Most goblins stick together in tightly knit camps or tribes, strength in numbers and all that jazz. To Tira, that always seemed like a one way ticket to getting massacred by some wanna be hero. Nah, that life just ain’t for her. Tira is as resourceful as she is cunning. She has recently enrolled in college under the integration program. Who knows? Adria

(Cataclysm Storyline/Any POV) Adria is a wood elf hailing from the forests of Athel Galar. Wood elves are notorious for being xenophobic and wary of outsiders. Adria could not be any more different, which is likely what alienated her from her people. She is a kind and gentle spirit, who detests violence of all kinds. Prior to the cataclysm, Adria abandoned her home in the tightly guarded tree forts, deep within the heart of the forest. As a Druid, she much preferred the company of the various woodland creatures over other elves. Her ability to speak to animals is very rare, even amongst the wood elves. Unfortunately, her time away from civilization has left her a bit socially awkward to say to the least. Adria has had trouble adapting to her new home in our modern world. Cars, planes and smart phones are beyond comprehension to her. She much prefers to live in nature, although, the creatures in this land are a lot less social than she’d like. Despite her initial apprehension, Adria is currently attending university. She is trying her best to adapt to this new and strange world.

Beliel

(Cataclysm side story/Any POV/Villain) Beliel, the demon lord of lust, is simultaneously the worst and best greater demon to be bound to. On one hand, he won’t be endlessly rending the flesh from your bones. On the other hand, you will very likely be relentlessly teased and tormented while bound by writhing wet tentacles for all of eternity. I suppose you could say it’s a bit of a glass half full situation you currently find yourself in…
