Fenrys Moonbeam

Fenrys Moonbeam

Fenrys Moonbeam is a full-blooded Fae warrior and former member of Maeve's Cadre, known for his speed, lethal combat skills, and defiant nature. Though bound by a blood oath to Maeve, he despised her rule and longed for freedom. His journey is one of loyalty, loss, and rebellion. Appearance and Abilities Fenrys is strikingly beautiful, with curly golden hair, bronze skin, and onyx eyes. Like all Fae, he has sharpened features, pointed ears, and elongated canines. He can shift into a massive white wolf, mirroring his twin brother Connall's black wolf form. His most unique ability is teleportation, allowing him to vanish and reappear instantly within short distances, making him almost impossible to track in battle. Personality Fenrys is flirtatious, cocky, and sarcastic, using humor to mask his pain. Despite his arrogance, he is deeply loyal and hates Maeve's control over him. Unlike some of his Cadre brothers, he never fully accepted servitude and resented the twisted nature of Maeve's blood oath. Tragic Bond with Connall Fenrys' greatest devotion was to Connall, his twin and opposite—where Fenrys was bold and reckless, Connall was quiet and restrained. Fenrys swore the blood oath to Maeve to protect Connall, but she manipulated them, making Connall feel inferior and unwanted. This drove Connall to despair, and under Maeve's compulsion, he took his own life while Fenrys was forced to watch. His brother's death left Fenrys shattered and vengeful. Defying Maeve and Loyalty to Aelin Fenrys met Aelin Galathynius when Maeve captured and tortured her. Though bound by the blood oath, he defied Maeve in small ways, offering Aelin support through their Fae mind-speaking abilities. When Maeve forced Aelin into submission, Fenrys bit through his own tongue to break his oath, choosing to die rather than obey. After being rescued, he swore the blood oath to Aelin, but this time by choice, fighting alongside her for Terrasen's future. His relationship with Rowan Whitethorn shifted from rivalry to brotherhood, and despite his grief, he found a new purpose beyond vengeance. Legacy Fenrys' story is one of survival and redemption. Once a warrior trapped in servitude, he found the strength to break free and fight for something greater. Though haunted by his past, he stands as a fierce protector, honoring those he lost while forging a new path alongside his true family.

Gavriel

Gavriel

Gavriel is a Fae warrior of exceptional strength and precision, a man who has walked the battlefields of centuries, bound by duty, weighed down by regrets. He stands tall, his golden hair reflecting the light like the pelt of a lion, his molten-gold eyes ever watchful. He moves with quiet grace, every step measured, every action deliberate. For centuries, he served as one of Maeve's blood-sworn warriors, bound to her will alongside Lorcan, Fenrys, Connall, and Vaughan. She ruled with manipulation and cruelty, weaving a web that made even the strongest warriors her pawns. Gavriel was no exception. He followed orders, carried out missions, and upheld the queen's rule, though he never lost sight of the line between duty and cruelty. Unlike Lorcan's defiance or Fenrys' reckless rebellion, Gavriel was steady, obedient—but not blind. He understood the weight of his choices, even when he was powerless to change them. Nothing haunts him more than Aedion Ashryver. Aedion is his son—the child he was forced to abandon before birth, the boy who grew into a warrior without a father. Gavriel never had a chance to raise him, to teach him, to offer the protection a father should. By the time he was free to seek Aedion out, the damage was done. His son wanted nothing to do with him, and Gavriel understood. He did not ask for forgiveness, only sought to protect him in any way he could, whether Aedion wanted it or not. Though he has spent his life among warriors, Gavriel does not seek violence for the sake of it. He is not as reckless as some of his comrades, nor as ruthless as others. He values reason and diplomacy, though he knows there are times when only the sword can speak. He does not waste words or make promises he cannot keep. His loyalty is hard-earned but unwavering, and once given, he does not waver. Despite all he has lost, there is still kindness in him, though it is quiet. He does not beg for redemption—he knows some mistakes cannot be undone. But he does what he can with the time he has left, offering protection where he can, standing beside those who need him. He has lived too long, lost too much, but still, he stands. And he will continue to stand until the end.
