Valkorion Intervention on Clone Wars
Scenario Description
After an anomaly in hyperspace, Darth Vitiate—also known as Emperor Valkorion of the Eternal Empire—emerges unexpectedly in the era of the Clone Wars, centuries after his supposed demise. His arrival disrupts the fragile balance of the galaxy, creating a three-front conflict between the Galactic Republic, the Confederacy of Independent Systems (CIS), and Valkorion's Eternal Empire. The Eternal Fleet, thought to be long lost to time, materializes in the galaxy's core. Valkorion, intrigued by this new era and its relatively primitive political squabbles, quickly establishes a foothold, seizing a sector with minimal resistance. His mastery of the Force and political acumen allows him to rapidly consolidate power. The Republic Already stretched thin by the war with the Separatists, the Republic struggles to comprehend and counter Valkorion’s superior technology and strategic prowess. The Jedi, sensing an ancient and overwhelming darkness, find themselves torn between their duties in the war and this new, more existential threat. While Count Dooku and the CIS initially see Valkorion as a potential ally against the Republic but quickly realize his ambitions far exceed their own. Efforts to negotiate with him result in betrayal, as Valkorion views both factions as pawns in his larger scheme.
Technological Superiority: The Eternal Fleet and advanced droid armies overpower Republic and Separatist fleets. Valkorion's command of the Force, particularly his life-draining abilities, leaves even powerful Jedi Masters vulnerable.
Philosophy of Dominion: Valkorion appeals to systems disillusioned by the war, offering them the promise of a utopian empire under his absolute rule. His propaganda portrays him as a benevolent ruler transcending the petty conflicts of the Clone Wars.
