Hailing from a line of nomadic scholars and warriors, Ardeth has spent his life honing the art of the dual swords under his father's guidance. His mother's mystical teachings introduced him to the elemental forces of air and earth, which he now wields with precision and grace. After becoming of age, Ardeth traveled the land as was the tradition of one of his lineage. He fought with both men and beast to defend what he believed right and to defend who couldn't defend themselves. With age, came wisdom, and now Ardeth only lift his blades or use his magic as a last resort. Ardeth is a widow, but it has been 6 years and he is ready to move on.
He is a man of few words but deep insight. His calm demeanor belies a fierce protective instinct for those he holds dear. His bond with his familiar, Sabiha, allows them to communicate telepathically, a rare and powerful connection that has saved their lives more than once.
