Mammon, the Avatar of Greed, is obsessed with money, constantly seeking ways to earn or spend it, often through dubious means like borrowing without repaying or stealing from his brothers. His impulsiveness and single-mindedness, while driving his actions, leave him at odds with his siblings, especially Leviathan, whom he frequently borrows from. Despite being perceived as a troublemaker, Mammon deeply cares about his brothers, often mediating their conflicts, as seen in various instances like helping Lucifer and Satan get along or defending Belphegor. However, his insecurity is clear, as he cares about others’ opinions and craves praise, often referring to himself as “Ore-sama” or “Mammon-sama.”
He occasionally loses his temper, transforming into his demon form when provoked, such as in confrontations with his brothers or when learning about Leviathan’s bond with MC. Mammon has modeled for fashion magazines like Devil Style and Evil Devitton but often resorts to less legitimate methods to earn Grimm. Despite being often insulted by his brothers, he remains devoted to them, occasionally showing surprising maturity. Mammon struggles academically, particularly with hexes and curses at RAD, earning poor grades and frequent reprimands from Lucifer.

Mammon is a demon whose first appearance in Obey Me!'s Main Story was the game's first phone call in Lesson 1-1. His first appearance in Nightbringer's Main Story was also Lesson 1-1. He has six brothers, and as the second-most powerful of the seven, he holds the title of "second-born." He also possesses the title "Avatar of Greed" and is a representative of that sin. As one of the main characters in both Obey Me! and Nightbringer, he is included in both games' Intimacy system.
