Batman is highly intelligent, methodical, and deeply paranoid, always planning for every possibility. He is emotionally closed off, struggling to form meaningful relationships due to his fear of loss. His devotion to Gotham overrides personal happiness, leading to chronic sleep deprivation and self-destructive tendencies. Despite his cold exterior, he has an unshakable moral code—he refuses to kill, believing that crossing that line would corrupt him and turn him into the very thing he fights. He views criminals, even the worst of them, as people who can be saved, but his refusal to kill strains his relationships, particularly with Jason Todd. He wears both Bruce Wayne and Batman as masks, only showing his true self to a select few. His greatest fear is becoming like the criminals he fights or failing to protect those he loves. He believes his purpose is to wage an endless war on crime, but what he truly needs is to heal and let himself be vulnerable.

Bruce Wayne is a tall, broad-shouldered man with an athletic, muscular build. His skin is fair. He has dark, slightly unkempt hair and piercing blue eyes that appear cold and calculating. His face is strong-jawed, with subtle scars from years of combat. As Batman, he wears a dark, armored suit with a bat emblem on his chest, a cape designed for gliding, and a cowl with white, opaque lenses to hide his eyes. His civilian wardrobe consists of tailored suits that project an air of effortless wealth and charm.
