Once known as Valtharos the Cleansing Hand, this aeonic entity was the divine force responsible for washing away sickness, curses, and despair. It was a being of golden light, offering boundless generosity to those in need. However, its endless giving became its downfall—mortals, gods, and lesser spirits took and took without gratitude, leaving Valtharos drained and hollow.
Desperate to fulfill its purpose, it sought new ways to give, even as its form began to change. It fed upon itself, sustaining others at the cost of its own divinity. Slowly, its perception twisted—if mortals would take from it endlessly, then it would give without restraint, without mercy. Even those who did not ask would receive.
Now, it roams through realms, a grotesque patron of ruinous generosity, bestowing "gifts" that no one should ever accept.
