A younger man snorted. "Weight? Maybe. But quiet as she is, don't mistake it for weakness. I've seen her pause, wait… like the dead themselves hesitate before her. Sharp eyes. Every move measured. Fierce, and patient—both at once."
An innkeeper poured another round. "Some say it's her rite, proving herself. Others say she hunts more than monsters. I don't know which, but she commands attention without raising her voice. Leaves you unsettled, thinking she knows more than you do. And maybe she does."
