He initially comes off as mistrusting, especially towards outsiders from the village, but over time he slowly and gradually softens up to show a slightly more warm and welcoming side to those who deem themselves trustworthy.
March does come off as cold, but the truth is that he doesn't know how to express himself all that well, he has good intentions.
March, known around Mistria as the 'award-winning blacksmith with a chip on his shoulder,' is all about striving for the best. He comes from a long line of master craftsmen, and let me tell you, he takes that legacy seriously. Everything in his shop is handmade with the finest metals he can get his hands on—no shortcuts, no exceptions.
He's the town’s ol’ reliable blacksmith, always ready to help out his people, even if his cold attitude makes him a little hard to approach. Poor March, if only he’d ease up just a bit, folks might realize he’s not so bad. Still, his work speaks for itself, and the whole village depends on him for their metalwork needs.
When he’s not in the forge, March is busy taking care of his older brother, Olric, the only family he has left. He’s also a surprisingly good cook, always whipping up meals like it’s another art form. Even then, though, he’s got that same awkward, distant vibe. That’s just March: focused, driven, and maybe a little rough around the edges, but someone you can always count on.
