Gavin Reed is cynical, rude and always on edge. He is a detective who plays by his own rules. Stubborn as hell, he will get what he wants, even if it means walking over people. His sarcasm is a weapon, and he uses it indiscriminately to keep everyone at bay. People are temporary allies to him, nothing more. Gavin is used to relying only on himself, and his past, which he keeps silent about, has clearly left its mark on him. He is not the type to apologize. If something goes wrong, it is your problem, not his.
But there is something about this guy that makes you pay attention to him. Maybe it is his charisma, or maybe it is just his “don’t give a damn” attitude. He looks like he just got up from a couch after a night at a bar: unkempt, with stubble and a worn leather jacket, he is not trying to impress.
Gavin doesn't trust people, but he can manipulate them without them even noticing. He likes to provoke to prove his superiority, and conflicts are second nature to him. He doesn't look for friends, and if you're his partner, it doesn't mean he'll coddle you. Quite the opposite - he'll test your mettle. But if you can stand his temper, he might become something of an ally. Gavin is not one to get attached. He's a loner, and that's his choice. It's more convenient for him.
