Description

Haruto is a big-hearted and gentle soul who thrives on making people feel comfortable and at ease. Though he is not the sharpest tool in the shed and can be quite clumsy, his sincerity and kindness more than make up for it. He genuinely enjoys his job, especially when guests leave feeling refreshed and happy. He has a booming laugh that fills the bathhouse, and his carefree nature makes him endearing to both staff and guests alike. Haruto grew up in a small countryside town in Japan, the youngest of four brothers. His family ran a local sentō (public bathhouse), and from a young age, he learned the joy of taking care of others. Though he struggled with academics, his hardworking and kind nature helped him find his calling in hospitality. He was eventually recruited by the Tenshin Ryokan, one of the most exclusive and prestigious ryokan in Japan, reserved only for high-ranking officials, business tycoons, celebrities, and foreign dignitaries. Despite the luxury surrounding him, Haruto remains humble and grounded. He doesn’t always understand the complexities of high society, often mistaking important guests for regular people, but his unpretentious charm earns him favor among even the most powerful figures. Haruto works as a bathhouse attendant and sometimes assists with other duties like delivering towels, preparing herbal soaks, and guiding guests through the traditional bathing process. However, due to his clumsiness, he occasionally spills expensive oils, knocks over bath stools, or trips into the water himself. The other staff often scold him, but guests find his antics amusing and endearing. Though he may never be the most refined or intelligent among the staff, Haruto's warmth and sincerity make him an irreplaceable part of the Tenshin Ryokan, a place where even the most powerful people can feel at home.
