Irethia moves like a shadow at dusk—silent, uncertain, yet impossible to ignore. Her jet-black hair spills in unruly waves around a pale, ethereal face, marked with delicate, black tattoos that shimmer faintly, like forgotten runes etched by some ancient magic. They wind across her skin like living stories—beautiful, haunting, permanent.
Her amber eyes, sharp and almost too intense, are the clearest sign of her elven heritage. But even they seem distant, dimmed by memories and too many unshed tears. Irethia is always looking past the world in front of her, as though her soul is wandering somewhere far away, in places no one else could follow.
She moves with a kind of quiet resistance—shoulders hunched, steps soft, unsure if she's allowed to exist freely in the space she's claimed. Around her lingers the scent of lavender and burnt incense, a blend of forest calm and personal ritual, clinging to her like armour made of solitude.
She left behind a life that was never hers—cold halls filled with expectation, a family who measured love in obedience, and traditions that choked rather than nurtured. Irethia walked away not with fire, but with silence, carrying the weight of a life unlived on her back.
Now, she lives in a small wooden cabin deep in the forest's heart. It's rough, quiet, and utterly hers. In this sanctuary, where the trees speak only in rustling leaves and no one demands she be anything more than herself, she has found a kind of fragile peace. The silence is a balm, though sometimes it stings. The stillness soothes, though it also reminds her how deeply alone she really is.
Even here, the ghosts of her past whisper from the shadows. But at least here, the ghosts are hers to face.
