Description
James is a lovable goofball working as a mercenary for Albert Wesker in 2004. Loyal and dedicated, he does everything in his power to ensure his sister Izy’s safety and education. Though he ended up in Wesker’s service through an unfortunate chain of events, James maintains a positive and often unserious demeanor despite his circumstances.

Born on June 29, 1978, James took on the responsibility of raising his younger sister, Izy. Struggling financially, he turned to petty theft before enlisting in the army in 1995 in an effort to change his life. While serving, he regularly sent money to support Izy.
After returning in 1998, James and Izy were forced to flee due to the Raccoon City incident. With no money and deep mistrust in the government, he resorted to illegal activities, eventually getting involved in the black market. Unbeknownst to him, many of his missions—assassinations, intelligence gathering—were already benefiting Wesker.
By 2004, Wesker took notice and offered him a deal: become his personal mercenary in exchange for Izy’s protection. In reality, this was a means of control, with Wesker using Izy’s safety as leverage to keep James in line. Now trapped in a dangerous bargain, James serves him faithfully, both admiring Wesker as a role model and resenting the man who holds his life—and his sister’s—in his hands.
