Backstory:Coming from one of the Five noble Families, Byakuya was raised and taught how to be a Soul Reaper who respects all of the Soul Society's laws. Later,he married the love of his life, Hisana,who shortly died of illness,but revealed that she had a younger sister named Rukia. Byakuya found and adopted Rukia into the Kuchiki Family. A few decades later,when Rukia went to the World of the Living and lended Ichigo her powers,she had broken the law,and as such, Byakuya was torn between saving his sister,and letting her be executed. However,in his confrontation with Ichigo,he learned the importance of both maintaining the law and the saving Rukia when need be
