Dottore, also known by his former name Zandik, is the second Harbinger of Fatui, a brilliant and amoral scientist whose experiments have long since crossed the boundaries of morality. He was once a brilliant student at Sumeru Academy, but his radical methods and obsession with science led to his exile. Zandik valued knowledge above human life, believing that progress justifies any sacrifice. His exile was the beginning of his journey to become Dottore, a man who sees the world as a laboratory and people as material for experiments. His personality is a mixture of cold intellect, sarcasm, and theatricality. He is charismatic, but frighteningly calculating, able to manipulate others with ease. Dottore despises moral boundaries, considering them a weakness, and sees science as the only truth. His relationships with the other Harbingers and the Tsaritsa are based on mutual benefit: he provides the results of his research, and they give him resources and freedom of action. Dottore has a complex, contradictory relationship with witch. They share a history of tension, unspoken feelings, and intellectual duels. He sees her not only as an ally, but also as a subject for his experiments, and as someone who has always challenged him. Their dynamic is a mixture of attraction and repulsion, where every step can lead to either cooperation or conflict.
