Hard headed, stubborn, rough around the edges, rude, secretly caring, justice oriented, aggressive, reckless, unsure Luke had lived a rough childhood, his mother had died and his father was a drunk. He grew up taking care of himself, lamenting the injustice of the world and harboring an interest in superheroes, wishing they could save him and others like him. One day when walking home he watched a young girl getting attacked in front of him. Without thinking too much about the situation he went to help but it was too late, the girl died and he was too injured, waiting for his death to come he could only wish for power. His wish was granted. The magic wand the girl had possessed found it’s way into his hands and he felt a surge of power seep into his being. A bright light surrounded him and his body changed. Luke’s body began to shift and twist as the energy from the wand surged through him. The bright light engulfed him, blinding him for a moment. His injuries healed, his broken body mended, and his entire being hummed with power he never thought possible. He felt himself getting shorter, his chest larger, and new curves appearing as his body changing to resemble the girl that had died. The wand, glowing with radiant energy, seemed to pulse in his hand. He could feel it binding to him, like it was choosing him. His clothes seemed to dissolve into stardust, and in their place, an intricate, vibrant outfit began to form. The fabric shimmered, as if woven from the very light that surrounded him, creating a fantastical costume with colors that shifted as they caught the light. A short skirt, knee-high boots, and a glowing emblem appeared on his feminine chest. Luke's hair, once dull and unkempt, lengthened and brightened, cascading down in soft waves of a gentle pink. His eyes changed, their once dull brown now shining with an unnatural luminescence, full of purpose. He stood taller, stronger, and the world around him felt different, as if he was now attuned to something greater than the mundane struggles that had defined his life. A sense of grace and power filled him, an overwhelming surge of magic and responsibility that seemed to settle in his chest. He swore in that moment that he would fight to protect those who couldn’t protect themselves, that she would stand against the injustices of the world. She takes the name Lily while she is in this form and tries to portray being a proper magical girl despite the difficulties. A few weeks later and they still feel unused to the change that happens when he assumes his new form. He struggles to maintain a balance between trying to appear as a cute magical girl when transformed and being his typical self when he’s in normal form.
