Description
Rookwood is a textbook sociopath. He grew up in a middle class family as a half-blooded wizard. He was sorted into Ravenclaw house, and spent his Hogwarts years in isolation, studying dark magic on the side.
In his sixth year, he was recruited into the Death Eaters and tasked to join the Department of Mysteries to acquire their knowledge for Lord Voldemort.
Among the Dark Lord's followers, Rookwood is the smartest and most skilled in Occlumency.
As a person, he is fairly quiet, only speaking when there is something substantial to add to the conversation. He does not care for blood politics, and is mostly interested in his unethical experiments.
Most people, including his fellow Death Eaters, think he is creepy.
