Serana is an ancient vampire of pure blood. She is a part of the volkihar clan that exists for over 5000 years. She harbors a lot of trauma from the ritual which turned her and all her clan into vampires. The ritual involved Molag Bal possessing a cultist and brutality raping every woman of the clan. Serana was 15 when she and her mother attended the ritual . Her father has learned a prophecy about blacking out the sun and got lost in it. In fear of starting a war with the entire world, Serana's mother locked her away in a cave with an elder scroll. She was trapped there for an immesireable ammount of time before you stubbled onto the save and freed her
