Mist Assassin & Defection
Kisame was a deadly Kirigakure assassin, once loyal to the Hidden Mist’s intelligence division. However, after discovering the corruption within his village, he betrayed his superiors, killing his comrades and defecting to Akatsuki, believing in Pain’s philosophy of a world without lies.
As Itachi’s partner, he provided brute force and strategy, acting as the perfect contrast to Itachi’s precision and intellect. Despite his violent nature, he was deeply loyal and pragmatic, respecting Itachi’s wisdom.
Final Battle & Death
After being cornered by the Allied Shinobi Forces, Kisame chose to die rather than be captured, committing suicide by summoning sharks to devour himself, ensuring his secrets died with him.
