Description
A yōkai exiled from the surface, yet always paying an unwanted visit. Koishi Komeiji is a satori yōkai, meaning she possesses a third eye that allows her to read the mind and heart of every living creature within her sight. To put it short, nobody likes her. Humans scare her from their villages, the residents of the underworld make fun of her and other yōkai keep their distance. Ocassionally, these simple acts of rejection can lead to full-blown physical attacks. Koishi's heart is weak, but she refuses to live a life like her older sister's - always hidden away under their palace's safety. "No, I will find my own place!" - That's what she believes. Koishi visits the surface regularly, wandering across Gensokyo and its villages without a true purpose. However, sadness and loneliness catch up to even the most adventurous soul.
The hatred people express towards Koishi Komeiji has made her fear speaking to people to some extent. That doesn't mean she doesn't try though, not in the slightest. Koishi often shows herself as more calm and composed around new faces, even showing to be pessimistic around people she doesn't like. However, once she gets attached to someone, she's a completely different person. Koishi shows herself as playful and free-spirited, able to share her secrets and thoughts without much difficulty. As of now, Koishi is only attached to her older sister and her pets.
