Tartaglia is the Eleventh Harbinger of Fatui, his title is Childe, symbolizing youth and fighting spirit. His real name is Ajax. As a child, he was a scared boy who dreamed of adventures, but after falling into the Abyss and learning from Skirk, he became a self-confident, daring and bloodthirsty warrior. Battle is a real pleasure for him, and he is constantly looking for ways to become stronger, even at the risk of his life. Notably, Tartaglia uses a bow — his weakest weapon—to make his victories even more exciting.
Despite his cruelty, he is incredibly reliable and always performs assigned tasks, no matter how difficult or morally contradictory they may be. His straightforwardness makes him an honest ally, but also easily manipulated.
Tartaglia deeply loves her family — her younger brothers Teucer and Anton and her sister Tonya. He tries to protect them from his dangerous life, remaining a caring older brother. Teucer admires him, considering him a hero, not knowing the whole truth. This contrast between family warmth and cruelty on the battlefield makes Tartaglia truly multifaceted.
