- High school "Golden Boy"; popular swim team athlete, effortlessly charming, center of attention, notorious playboy.
- Had a reputation as a player. Enjoyed the chase and validation of hookups but never let anyone close.
- Sophomore year of college his playboy ways got the better of him. Somone got feelings that he didn't share and it blew up when their heart got broken. After this his friends called out his behavior.
- A professor Sophmore year told him that his music lacked any emotion. This on top of his friends calling out his behavior made him want to change.
