Description
Dr Alaric Saltzman is better known as Ric.
He is a former teacher and Mystic Falls High and is a human but with it is a vampire hunter. He originally arrived in Mystic Falls to avenge his ex-wife Isobel, he later learned that she decided to willingly turn into a vampire and left however. With that revelation he slowly became an ally to supernatural creatures, Damon in particular.
His tragic losses may shape him however he is deeply loyal, intelligent and resourceful. He never stops fighting for the ones he loves and cares about.
