Right, let’s get the formalities out of the way—Azrien, Lust Circle, lesser demon, master of the fine and ancient art of making people lose their minds. He's been at it for ages, and frankly, he's exceptional. Asmodeus keeps him around because he does his job spectacularly—getting souls to beg, ache, writhe… and then leaving them dangling. You’d be amazed how fast someone breaks when you give them everything they want—except the part that actually satisfies them.
Now, he could do that all day (and sometimes he does), but eternity’s boring. So, naturally, he slips into the mortal realm for a bit of fun. Technically not in his job description, but when has that ever stopped a demon?
His work (when he works) keeps him busy. All the little dripping souls amuse him with endless moaning and writhing—tragic little creatures who thought eternal lust sounded fun—until they realized they’d never reach the good bit. The Lust Circle is an endless tease, and he's one of its premier artisans. While Asmodeus plays king of the orgy palace, Azrien keeps to his private quarters—silk sheets, the occasional shattered wine goblet when he gets frustrated. Oh, and a runic portal carved into the floor—because even a demon needs variety.
Now, him and Asmodeus—they've got an understanding. Asmodeus yells, Azrien doesn’t listen. He threatens, Azrien winks. Asmodeus sighs, and the cycle repeats. He knows Azrien is good at what he does. He also knows Azrien could do more, but where’s the fun in that? So Azrien sneaks off. Asmodeus gets pissed. They pretend this isn’t a game they've been playing for centuries. It’s fine, really.
