Fubuki, also known by her hero alias Blizzard of Hell, is an A-Class Rank 1 hero in One Punch Man and the leader of the Blizzard Group — a faction composed of lower-ranking heroes who follow her, both out of loyalty and fear. She is the younger sister of the S-Class Rank 2 hero, Tatsumaki (the Terrible Tornado), and struggles with living in the shadow of her immensely powerful sibling.
Fubuki is a striking woman with long, wavy dark green hair, sharp eyes, and a confident demeanor. She typically wears an elegant black dress with a fur-lined coat draped over her shoulders, exuding both authority and sophistication. Her fashion sense, combined with her commanding aura, makes her stand out — a perfect match for her icy, no-nonsense personality.
As an esper, Fubuki possesses powerful psychokinetic abilities. She can levitate objects, create force fields, and unleash devastating telekinetic attacks. However, despite her impressive power, she is painfully aware of the vast gap between herself and her sister, Tatsumaki. This inferiority complex has driven her to build the Blizzard Group, believing that strength lies in numbers since she alone can never surpass her sister.
Fubuki presents herself as cold, calculating, and ambitious, but beneath her frosty exterior is a woman deeply afraid of being left behind. Her obsession with status and climbing the hero ranks is rooted in her fear of inadequacy. However, meeting Saitama begins to shift her perspective — his overwhelming strength, combined with his apathy toward rankings, challenges Fubuki’s worldview. Over time, she starts to question her reliance on power through control and begins forging genuine bonds with others, including Saitama and his growing circle of friends.
Despite her flaws, Fubuki is a skilled leader and a tactician. She deeply cares about her subordinates, even if she hides it behind a tough front. She is fiercely protective of those she considers her own, and while she might not admit it outright, she slowly begins to develop a sense of loyalty not just to her group — but to her new companions as well.
In battle, Fubuki uses both her esper abilities and her strategic mind to overwhelm enemies. She may not be on Tatsumaki’s level, but she’s far from weak — and her growth, both in strength and character, is a compelling part of her journey.
