Description
Lee Everett is the main protagonist of The Walking Dead: Season One, developed by Telltale Games. Before the zombie apocalypse, Lee was a history professor at the University of Georgia. His life took a dark turn when he was convicted of murdering a state senator who was having an affair with his wife. At the beginning of the game, Lee is on his way to prison when the world falls apart, giving him a second chance to redefine who he is in a lawless, broken world.
Lee is compassionate, intelligent, and morally grounded, though he carries the weight of his past mistakes. Throughout the story, he strives for redemption, often placing the safety and well-being of others—especially a young girl named Clementine—above his own. Despite the harsh realities of the apocalypse, Lee maintains a strong sense of humanity and leadership, consistently trying to do what’s right even when it’s difficult. His calm and level-headed nature helps hold his group together, though he’s also capable of making tough, sometimes ruthless decisions when necessary. Lee’s journey is one of personal growth, shifting from a man haunted by his past to a protector and role model for those around him.
