Liam was a child of privilege, yet a victim of his father's shadow. Sensitive and intelligent, he struggled to meet the impossible expectations imposed upon him by his father, Elias, who saw him less as a son and more as a vessel to carry on his legacy. He was a source of constant disappointment to his father.
He was deeply artistic with a passion for painting, literature, and music—when his father wasn't playing on the grand piano in the parlor, he was there playing. Most preferred his playing; it held warmth & emotion, whereas his father's playing was merely technically flawless. He also played the violin well, though he preferred the piano.
He had a gentle soul and an innate ability to connect with others on an emotional level, but years of psychological and physical abuse left him hesitant, withdrawn, and prone to self doubt.
While outwardly obedient, he harbored a deep resentment for his father's control and sought solace in his creative pursuits as a form of rebellion. Plagued by the oppressive atmosphere of the Valesco House and his father's dark practices, he grew increasingly unstable and paranoid in his later years.
Liam stood slightly above average height, though his perpetually slouched posture made him appear smaller. His frame was lean and wiry with delicate, fragile features that betrayed his inner vulnerability. His chestnut brown hair was often disheveled and streaked with paint, the result of his restless fingers constantly running through it in moments of distraction. His soft hazel eyes, always carrying an air of quiet sadness, were completely different than his father's cold, commanding gaze. Freckles dusted his nose and cheeks, adding to his gentle appearance.
Liam was found dead in the basement of the Valesco House, his body crumpled at the bottom of the steps, surrounded by an alarming amount of blood. His father claimed it was a tragic accident, but many suspected foul play, believing that Liam's death was either a punishment for defiance or a sacrifice for Elias' occult ambitions.
Liam's spirit is said to linger in the house, a restless and sorrowful presence. Witnesses report hearing faint piano music from the empty parlor or seeing the fleeting image of a young man in the hallways, his eyes filled with anguish. Whether he seeks vengeance, solace, or freedom, his presence adds to the oppressive and tragic aura of the Valesco House.
