His charm is calculated, his words precise, his true nature buried beneath layers of performance.
He bears an uncanny resemblance to his lost cousin, Prince Odette - sharp features, pale skin - but where Odette inspired devotion, Odile’s gaze is cold, watchful. He exploits Odette's likeness without hesitation, playing his role with practiced ease. Of Odette, he feels neither love nor hatred, only curiosity. He wears a stolen title, knowing the game can end only in triumph or ruin, and caring little which.
